SARGE
LINTECUM
Sarge
Lintecum is a highly decorated, three tour,
Vietnam combat vet (Army/101st Abn. Div. '66, '67, & '68)
who has performed before a wide spectrum of audiences. Vietnam veterans across
the nation and around the world truely enjoy Sarge's "Vietnam Blues".
Sarge's recording, "Vietnam Blues - Combat Tested Blues . . . For Peace",
is a moving and healing experience with a full band blues rock
sound that can only be described as "pure Sarge".
In August 1997 and also in August 1999 Sarge performed at the
National Convention of the Vietnam Veterans of America. The National
Convention in 1997 was in Kansas City, Missouri where Sarge was also the opening
act at the Grand Emporium Blues Club, one of the leading blues clubs,
twice voted best blues club in the United States, and in 1999 in Anahiem,
California representing the VETROCK 2000 Concert Tour where Sarge was backed
up by the awesome California band, Beyond Blue.
Sarge is a Vietnam veteran blues man and a powerful
performance poet, who is a meaningful addition to any event. His music has been played around the world on shortwave radio by Vietnam
combat veteran, Navy Corpsman, Doc Upton, (now deceased) on the Vietnam Veterans
Radio Network.
